2015 - Chimney

It's never quite clear where the inspiration comes from but the design this year is based on the principle of a plain tent card looking like a snowy rooftop.

The transformative element - the chimney - was harder to engineer, proving impossible to achieve in one piece. Cutting in half allowed the construction to be simplified and presented in a 'flat pack' envelope.

Ideally we wanted glittery snow prints on the roof or boots descending through the chimney but these versions were ultimately scrapped due to complexity or realisation proving too difficult. Simple is often best!
