Industrial Area

Epcot being designed as a real city, public services as well as industrial areas were needed. Through the Reedy Creek Improvement legislation, Disney could built almost anything the city would have needed, including a nuclear plant. Although a separated industrial park, connected to Epcot via high-speed monorails, was included in the overall Florida Project, small industrial elements were included close to the Urban Center. Since this area of the model was not moved to Walt Disney World in 1975 and was therefore destroyed, very few photographic elements exist.
