About the Feathers

We are a small family run restaurant, serving simple, well cooked home-style comfort food.

I first opened our doors on the 28th May 2010, and still see many of our customers to this date whom have witnessed our journey and development (especially in the past few years where we have been doing extensive building works overseen and a lot completed by ourselves).

 

The family;

Steve... executive chef / restaurateur / owner. Have worked in kitchen and pub environments since I was 14 years old from glass collecting, pot wash, assistant, head chef to present. 

Nicola - Front of house, partner and mother to the next generation, my sons Kenny & Joshua and step daughter Lauren. She makes sure the service runs smoothly, shes in charge out front. 

Sue - mum. Shes a hard worker doing most of the prep work, buffets and little finishing touches.

Keith - father. He is the friendly older guy that most of you know that should have retired 25years ago but is always doing the odd job.

 

Then we have some of the key workers, that are like family;

Dave.. during service we are literally right hand and left hand and your dinner was probably cooked by both of us!

Nicky, Jolanta, Stephen have all been with me for years and The feathers wouldnt be The feathers without them all, they make us what we are.
