Curriculum foundations:
Science, Math, Social Studies, English, Art, Health, Careers and Civics will be taught utilizing New York State Standards and National Standards.
The Time for Learning curriculum will be utilized K-8 for all subject matter and supplemented with the following:
The Science, Math, and English: The National Wildlife Federation Nature Scope series for K - 8th grade.
English Comprehension K - 3: Hooked on Phonics reading and comprehension curriculum.
English Comprehension 4-8: Famous Authors study.
The Spanish curriculum will be taught by St. Lawrence University students utilizing the Calico Spanish K-8 curriculum and materials.

General instruction is mandated for all elementary and secondary schools in:
patriotism and citizenship
history of the United States and New York State
health education regarding abuse of alcohol, drugs and tobacco
highway safety and traffic regulations

In grades 7 and 8, requirements are given in terms of units of study. A unit of study is 180 minutes of instruction per week throughout the school year, or the equivalent. Instruction must be given in grades 7 and 8 in:
English (2 units)

Math (2 units)
Health (1/2 unit)
Art (1/2 unit)
Music (1/2 unit)
Physical Education (1/2 unit)
Technology education*(1 unit)
Home and Career Skills* (3/4 unit)
