Odyssey Academy - A Journey of Discovery!
The Odyssey Academy is part of an exciting new educational movement happening around the country to actively engage kindergarten through eighth graders in the learning process.
We Believe Learning is:
Interdisciplinary: combining many subjects into each project
Differentiated: tailoring the studies to your child's learning ability
Experiential: projects, experiments and hands on learning
Constructive: building learning off of prior experiences
We believe learning should be exciting.
We believe we can create a positive, exciting, learning environment.
We believe students can be taught to problem solve.
We believe a family atmosphere helps to promotes learning.
We believe students can become independent learners.
We believe students can learn to be critical thinkers.
The Odyssey Academy is an auxiliary division of The Mandala School (founded in East Aurora, New York.)
