William B. Godfrey- b. 1804; m. 24 March 1831 Hepzibah Wing Jones at Fairhaven Bristol, MA; d. bef 1850
Their Children:
1. Mary Catherine b. 30 November 1832 at Sandwich, Barnstable, MA; m. 24 April 1853 Lewis Harlow Raymond at Plymouth, Plymouth, MA; d. 2 April 1904 at Hanson, Plymouth, MA
Presently I can not find more information on William's family. He has been noted in other sites as being a Captain, a ship's captain. Since his marriage was in Fairhaven, this is a possibility. He is listed in the 1830 census in Taunton, Bristol, MA. But he is not found in the 1840, nor the 1850. His wife and daughter are found in the 1850 census living in Plymouth, in two different households but next to each other. The names of the residents leave me to believe that they are siblings or cousins of Hepzibah. In the 1880 census, Mary is living with her husband, chidlren, Hepzibah, and two boarders. William is not mentioned.
