Course Description: Grade 10 design is an introductory skill building course, where students learn; what is design, the steps involved in the design process, sketching, technical drawing, how to properly measure, 2D drafting (AutoCAD), 3D modeling (SketchUP), physical model making, 3D printing/prototyping, problem-solving, and explore architecture/engineering/product design related career pathways. This is accomplished through engaging hands-on project driven instruction/assignments. Example projects: Bedroom Makeover, 3D printed cell phone holder, Dream House and more!
