Tomar (Skipper) & Kerstin
My name is Tomar, I turned 33 and I was born in the UK but I was brought up in Rome, Italy. I am an easy going cosmopolital guy who believes in the old say "you only get what you give".
I always loved the sea and the water since childhood but I have been into sailing since my father decided to buy his first yacht about ten years ago. Since then I have been spending more and more time messing around in 30 to 50 foot long boats during the summer, mostly cruising in the Mediterranean Sea. More recently my wife Kerstin and I have helped deliver yachts long distances within the Med (from Greece to France) and from Spain to Holland across the Bay of Biscay, through the busy shipping lanes of the English Channel and the choppy North Sea. We both have Royal Yachting Association sailing certificates and we might not have decades of experience at sea but we have our fair share of stories to tell and we have learned to respect the sea.
Kerstin is 31 and was born in Hamburg/Germany and guess what...she has cought the sailing bug too! She loves the outdoor and friendly people and when not sailing is working in marketing in the UK. She loves food and she can pull off some tasty dishes out of our tiny galley so you are in for some gastronomic treats!
In 2007 we have bought Night Image which is our own first yacht and decided to spend the whole summer period cruising and sailing around the Med and during the winters we live and work in the UK as professionals.
