The Cruising

The type of cruising that we will be doing is laid back short-range (5 to 40 miles) coastal passages but some longer passages can be done depending on the circumstances and crew ability and confidence. My idea of cool cruising goes more or less like this: harbour towns sightseeing, lots of bay hopping, hiking, snorkelling, fishing, barbecues on desert beaches and of course some fast sailing just for the fun of it! And if you have any other ideas I am well happy to hear about them. If the opportunity arises we might even get involved in some amateur racing.

Generally the main objectives of the cruise are: 1) have bags of fun 2) avoiding taking unnecessary risks and stressing out whenever possible 3) Taking it easy and making sure we don’t miss out on anything worth seeing along the way.

We usually prefer to stay at anchor in peaceful bays overnight (as opposed to go into harbours and yacht marinas), because you can just wake up have a coffe and jump in the water for a swim, because it's quieter than harbours and because it's just magic! Our water tanks hold up to 200 lt, which, with 4 people on board and with a bit of care, should last for about 5 days roaming before pulling into marinas to stock up with water and food.

Important!

Needless to say that drugs are not allowed onboard at any time and that excessive boozers are simply not welcome onboard.
