Adoption times may be delayed due to limited veterinary availability for spays and neuters. 

We, and all of our kitties, appreciate your understanding and patience.


Also, if for any reason, the adoption doesn't work out, it states in our adoption contract that they be returned to The Foster Kitten Project. It could be 2 weeks or 2 years after the adoption. We don't care. We want our kitten(s)/cat(s) returned to us if the adoption doesn't work out.


All Of Our Kittens And Cats Available For Adoption Have Been:

Microchipped

Given age appropriate vaccinations

Dewormed

Fecal tested

Virus tested (Including FELV & FIV)

Spay or Neutered

Can I Adopt A Kitten?

In order to be considered for adoption, all current pets in your home must be:

Steps To Adopting A Kitten

1.     Insure you meet the above criteria

2.    Link to available kittens

3.     Review the information about each kitten to ensure they are a good fit with you and your family

4.    Fill out the adoption application

5.    Wait to hear from a member of our staff

6.    Contact your vet to allow us to ask about your current pets.

7.    Take home your new fur baby!


Please allow 7-10 days for us to process and approve your application. 


We recommend submitting a adoption application BEFORE going to visit any kittens.

How much does it cost to adopt a kitten?

Most kittens have an adoption fee of $175

Adults are $75


When can I take my kitten home?

Once we approve your application, which can take 7-10 days, you can take your kitten home within a few days. Sometimes there is a longer waiting period depending on the age of the kitten.


Why don’t I see the ADOPT button?

The kitten is not ready to be adopted yet or has a pending application and adoption. Please submit an application for and don't name a kitten; select 'Next.'


Can I get on a wait list for the next litter?

Yes! Fill out the application, and don't name a kitten, just select 'Next.'

What if the kitten/cat and my family don't work out?

We ALWAYS want our kitten(s)/cat(s) returned back to us if the adoption doesn't work out. In out adoption contract it states that they must be returned to us for ANY reason. They are family and we don't want them to end up on the streets or in a 'kill' shelter.
