The Foster Kitten Project is dedicated to rescuing orphaned and abandoned neonatal kittens.
Many shelters are unable to take in these kittens due to their intensive round-the-clock care, because of this; they are one of the largest groups euthanized in the United States every year.
Our mission is to provide these vulnerable kittens with comprehensive medical care, including spaying and neutering, to prevent overpopulation, suffering, and the spread of disease.
Together, we nurture a future where every kitten has the opportunity for a healthy, loving home.

The felines featured here have been in rescue with The Foster Kitten Project for more than one year, some for two to three years. These beautiful kitties are looking for that purrfect furever family to call their very own and they are very HOPEFUL it will be soon.
They are healthy, loving, and purrfect but can be a little shy, meaning they need someone patient enough to allow their personalities to come to life. We promise they are worth it.

Ox is an adorable, fluffy girl with a heart full of sweetness. She enjoys observing her lively siblings as they zoom around, taking her time to plan her own playful escapades. When she’s ready to join in, she springs into action, showing off her playful spirit. Her favorite games include batting around crinkle balls, pouncing on fluttering feathers, and claiming the highest perch on the cat tree for her lounging sessions. With her gentle demeanor and playful nature, Ox brings joy to every moment!

Barbara was adopted back in 2022 as a retired mama. She was in a loving home for 4 years. Her adopter was getting older and didn't feel she could care fo her anymore. Barabara is a petite adult and still has a lot of spunk.

Risotto is a shy and guarded momma cat that was found with her 4 kittens at an old daycare playground. She hasn't quite learned how to trust people fully but will give slow blinks and accept head scratches. One of our volunteers found the family and worked for a few days to trap them all to bring them into rescue.

Menchi(Perch)
Menchi(Perch)
Perch now known as Menchi was brought back to us to no fault of hers. Her owner had to move into a new place that didn't allow pets.
With that being said Menchi has been a pleasure to have in fostercare. It took her a bit of time to get used to SO many housemates. 2 greyhounds and 7 other cats, resident as well as other fosters. Menchi is definately an on her own terms cat. But she does like to cuddle, she just doesn't like being picked up.
She is still young enough to do all the playing and chasing. She would be best with other cats, she very much likes a playmate. Menchi would probably do well with many different age groups of kids. However, when she is happy she does like to nibble a bit with her front teeth. More of a tiny pinch than a bite.
Menchi is an all around perfect cat.

Snake is an affectionate girl with an engine that purrs to life the moment you give her a snuggle. She earned her name by being the only one of her siblings clever enough to slither through the bars of the kennel, eager to explore her new foster home. With a playful spirit, she loves to sneak beneath chairs and couches, hunting for crinkle balls and other delightful toys. Her absolute favorite? A shoelace that she proudly carries around the house, turning every corner into her own personal playground. With her adventurous nature and sweet personality, Snake brings endless joy and curiosity to her surroundings!
