The East Ramapo Teachers’ Center and the ERTA Professional Development Institute are pleased to present its Winter/Spring 2018 programs.

PLEASE NOTICE NEW RATES ($100 PER CREDIT & $75 TO AUDIT A 3 CREDIT COURSE OR $25 TO AUDIT A 1 CREDIT COURSE)
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED for both credit and auditing courses.
Submit course approval form to East Ramapo Personnel PRIOR to registering.
DEADLINE to register for all courses and workshops is Wednesday, January 24th.

*Qualities of a Successful Web Course (Hybrid Course) Student: Successful Web course students are committed to their studies. While Web courses offer more flexibility and convenience, they can be more demanding of time and energy than regular courses or workshops. NOTE: Web course students need to know how to use technology. If your computer skills and experience are below the expected entry level described above, you may need to spend additional time beyond the average.

This course is a follow-up for participants who have taken the Google Docs workshop with the instructor before, or who have been using Google Drive and need some refreshers. (This is not for beginners or participants that have not used Google Drive before.)

Flipped classroom is an instructional strategy and a type of blended learning that reverses the traditional learning environment by delivering instructional content, often online, outside of the classroom. It moves activities, including those that may have traditionally been considered homework, into the classroom.

This workshop focuses on aspects that are most suitable for classroom teachers, but specialists are welcome to register.
This workshop will teach you the fundamentals of how to use a SMART Board, the SMART Notebook software, and other great features!
