Great news! We just received a new 5-year grant to study inflammatory changes in Alzheimer's disease through a multi-disciplinary approach. This will include genetic testing, blood and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) measure of inflammatory proteins, analysis of immune cell functions in the CSF, and brain imaging (MRI, PET) of inflammation in Alzheimer's disease. We will be working with the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) to analyze a large number of blood/CSF samples with longitudinal tracking, and Emory investigators from Radiology (Deqiang Qiu, PhD, Mark Goodman, PhD, Jonathon Nye, PhD) and Physiology (Malu Tansey, PhD).

We are also looking for a motivated post-doctoral candidate to work on this project. Expertise in bioinformatics/imaging preferred but not required.
