Dementia Friendly America

If your loved ones have dementia, you know how difficult it can be to take them to the grocery store, post office, bank, DMV, airport, etc. Why does it have to be? Japan and United Kingdom have developed strong community-based initiatives and networks to make the life of persons with dementia (PWD) and their caregivers "easier" by offering a helping hand (https://www.dementiafriends.org.uk/). We can catch up in the US, but this will not happen within the universities. We need your help to create a Dementia Friendly America.
