Freight Frenzy

During the 2021-22 freight frenzy season, our team opted to build an efficient robot tha could effeciently pick up and deliver the freight. After the game reveal, our team discussed various design options for intaking and delivery and prototyped a few designs to choose the best. Our robot this year made use of both store bought parts as well as some custom components using 3D printing. This year we wanted to teach the newer members about FTC and robotics and grow the team, since two of our members will be graduating.

Frieght Frenzy Challnege

In the 2021-2022 season, FIRST® FORWARDSM presented by Qualcomm, FIRST® teams will explore the future of transportation.

Autonomous: This is the 30 second peiod of autonomous operation where teams score points for completing tasks like delivering the preplaced duck from the carousel, placing the freight in alliance shipping hub, parking in storage unit or warehouse.

Driver Controlled: During this 2 minute period, teams score by placing fright in the shared hub or the alliance hub. Depending on which level frieghts are placed, teams score different points. Teams can also score by placing weighted or non weighted freights in the shared hub

End Game: During end game teams can score by delivering ducks using carousel or placing the team element on top of the alliance shipping hub. Team score extra points for tipping the shared hub to your alliance side.
