The Trauma and Coping Research Group (TCRG), directed by Dr. Meghan McDevitt-Murphy, conducts research on psychological trauma, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the ways in which people cope with trauma and subsequent psychological sequela. In particular, our lab has a special interest in PTSD and co-occurring substance misuse among Veteran and military populations.

We are currently conducting projects at The University of Memphis, the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Memphis, and throughout the community.
