Using External GPS

External GPS devices provide more reliable, consistent and accurate readings. Once you start running a few events I suggest you purchase a Garmin GLO 2. It is easy to setup and supports up to 4 devices. At this time, it provides 3 times the updates of the Dual device if you are running rabbit on iOS. This eliminates to so called "lag" in updates.

For iOS, all you need to do is connect you external GPS in the iOS Bluetooth settings screen.

Android does not support external GPS directly. You need to have a Mock GPS provider. We suggest you download Bluetooth GPS app (free). It does require you to set your Android in Developer mode (described below). Again, pair via bluetooth setting then select the paired device from the Bluetooth GPS mock gps screen.
