Not much happened today, but several things happened the last few days. Most impressive, I've finished dismantling the TARDIS plush toys to see how to wire up my tissue box. The electronics were fairly straight forward. I couldn't help but play with it. This is me inserting the LED into what will be the globe for the light. I love the effect.
Note: If you buy this toy, it is fairly easy to disassemble. I found the gluing quantity and quality varied; I disassembled two plush toys (one to retro fit my original tissue box). In both cases, the molded globe twisted off exposing the LED & stem. You should have no issues.Â
Secondly, less exciting, I closed up the gaps between the panels with wood putty. I picked a very light color and a very soft putty. I also made sure to pick one that was paintable and sandable. I applied it with a putty knife and plan to sand it down once I glue to the two halves together.
