The Tardis Tissue Box
Back in 2008, I had finally had it with floral print tissue boxes. Half the population was men for crying out loud and the only options in the store were neutral and floral prints; occasionally a masculine print. So to be done with it once and for all, I made this tissue box cover.
Once it was complete, I posted some pics of the final product and the interim stages online (see here). One person asked me for detailed directions and after going into great detail on how I pulled it off, I was completely uninspired to try again.
A few months ago a friend talked me out of it. She was having a baby and really wanted a Tardis tissue box (for herself, not the baby -- too young). My wife joined in on the pleading and I agreed.
