Welcome to the Talman Elementary School website. We are utilizing our full school day schedule to provide quality instruction for our students, starting at 7:30 a.m.! Talman School is grateful for all your support and cooperation. This website has been created to help maintain a close connection between school and home. There is an abundance of valuable information throughout this website, such as the Staff Directory, Class Webpages, our School Calendar, and much more.

Vision:

The Talman Elementary School Vision is to provide a nurturing, small school academic environment that includes staff, parents, and community members working together to promote academic achievement with the goal of educating life-long learners.

Mission:

The Talman Mission is to become an ideal school that models high academic standards through real-life, hands-on experiences. These experiences support the development of reading literacy, higher-order thinking skills, and an appreciation for world and life views that empower all students, including English Language Learners and those with special needs, to be life-long learners. By allowing students to take an active role in their education, we enable them to become constructive, contributing members of society.

Schedule:

Talman students and teachers attend school from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.. The following schedule reflects an example of the amount of minutes per class that each student will be following.

Reading 7:40 - 9:10 (90 min)

Math 9:10 - 10:40 (90 min)

Science 10:40 - 11:40 (60 min)

Social Studies 11:40 - 12:40 (60 min)

Lunch / Recess 12:40 - 1:25 (45 min)

Auxiliary Class 1:25 - 2:25 (60 min)

School Closure Breakfast and Lunches

We hope that everyone is staying health and safe. Please know that breakfast and lunch is provided to families from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.
