Meeting Minutes - Sept 10, 2015

Sept. 10, 2015

Meeting was called to order by Howard Anderson.

Devotions were given by Pastor Watt.

Bob Henke motioned to approve Sept. agenda, was seconded by Ron Eichhorst. Agenda approved.

Minutes were read by Debbie. Ron made a motion to approve the minutes, seconded by Randy. Minutes approved.

Treasurer report was read by Bob Henke. Bob reported 3,052.66 was our current balance. Ron Eichhorst motioned to approve the financial report. Seconded by Terry.

Howard commented on the gospel group preforming at the opera house in Corning in Oct. Tickets will be sold. Capacity of 200-250. $20.00 a ticket.

Not working on any grants at this time.

Trinity/Shenandoah is having a Wisconsin fish dinner Sept. 11, all proceeds to the LERT trailer. Trailer will be onsite,

Terry & Debbie pulled the trailer through the Essex Labor Day Parade.

The trailer will be in the Corning homecoming parade on Sept. 18^th.

Bob Henke located a place for the trailer to be stored in Clarinda @ $50.00 a month or $500.00 a year. Randy Roghair made a motion to rent the building for a year as of Oct.1. Motion carried.

Pastor Watt explained how our mass text alert would be sent out. No need to respond back. Anybody who wants to go where the trailer is needs to sign up for this free service. Pastor will send out monthly test alerts.

Debbie will talk with Ellie about the list of trained people.

An electronic copy of the LERT manual needs to be sent to Pastor Watt so it can be installed on the website.

A disaster in your area goes through the church. Committee member contacts Ellie & Ellie will put out notification.

Howard & Debbie will work on letter to emergency management coordinators.

Pastor Watt is preparing a care card that can be used when communicating with families dealing with their loss.

Pastor Watt would like to see a line item for the Circuit Pastor Advisor on the agenda.
