Bring a mending project and come along for a chat and hot drink. Help might be on hand if you’re looking for tips or advice, and we have some equipment that might be helpful, including sewing machines. Projects tend to be sewing or knitting, but you’re welcome to bring anything you’re working on.
Forage Your Cleaning Products! 🌿
Friday 11th October, 9.30am-10.30am, at The Green Hub
Switch to eco-friendly, non toxic cleaning solutions that are safe for you and your family - and much cheaper. Bring along a large glass jar or wide-necked bottle if you can, and any conkers you can find. We will have some spare, so don’t worry if you don’t have these.
Family Friendly Wildlife Craft 🐝

Learn all about garden wildlife, and how you can help take care of it. Funcraft activities for the family, so bring the kids! - With Rhiannon from Wild Oxfordshire.
The Truth About Heat Pumps 🔥

Find out all about heat pumps. What is a heat pump? What can and can’t they do? How are they different to central heating? Our resident expert is here for discussion and questions.
Saturday 18th October, 2pm-5pm at the Green Hub
Bring your broken bikes, torn clothes, and electrical items in need of looking at and our fixers will do their best to fix them up for you.
No charge for fixing, but we do ask for donations towards costs.
We also run our monthly mending session at The Green Hub on the 1st Monday of the month, from 7.30. Bring a fabric project and stitch in good company whilst sharing eco concerns.

Saturday 18th October, 10am - 12pm meeting at the New Road Allotment
A mixture of planting, weeding, composting, watering, and other gardening related tasks. Dress for the weather, bring gloves and some water.
Sunday 19th October, 1pm-3.30pm at The Barn, Foxhall Road
Bring your apples - windfalls included - and come along to make your own fresh juice! Please bring bottles to pour your juice into. We have an apple press and we’ll be on hand to help.
Monday 27th October, 2pm-4pm, at The Green Hub
A half term, family-friendly session. Come along and make spooky decorations for Halloween, focusing on local wildlife including bats and spiders!

Bring your good quality, unwanted craft items to swap for all kinds of other craft bits!
No entry fee, but donations welcomed.
