Food Rescue

Sustainable Didcot have launched a food rescue project with an aim to reduce food wastage. It redistribute surplus food from supermarkets, local food businesses, producers, households and gardens, making it freely available to everyone in the community.

The Food Rescue is open to all. It is not means tested, so anyone can visit to see what food is available to 'save', take home and cook with - just drop in during opening hours!

The Community Fridge will be in the Green Hub on Lydalls Road. Currently it is open Weds from 8.45pm.
