Twice a month we get together at the Community Allotment. Each time we focus on a different skill - planting, re-potting, mulching, weeding, and more.
Come along and get active outdoors with us, learn to grow food sustainably. We all have a chat over hot chocolate or tea and biscuits after the session.

We have a community allotment at New Road allotment site situated by Fleet Meadow Community Hall and Restore.
We share the site, the work, the decision making and the harvest. If you've made the effort to turn up, even briefly, you can take crops away - but please consider others who might also like a share. If you really want to grow something, say so and we'll make sure there's space.
The community allotment has its own Facebook page.
To get involved with the community allotment:
Contact us at sustainabledidcot@gmail.com
We are happy to meet up with you individually and give you a tour.
We are open to suggestions on how to make this an allotment more accessible to the whole community.
What's the site like?
Our plot has a polytunnel, four raised beds and some raspberries canes, as well our tool box, a compost area, water butts and a wormery. There are benches near the gate if you need a rest. During work parties we usually bring some refreshments, but it's worth bringing a snack and bottle of water as well as your gardening gloves.
We don't have toilet facilities at present, but we are able to use the toilets inside the community centre when it's open.
