SUMMR16 Undergraduate Mathematics Research Conference

The team presented their research findings at the SUMMR16 undergraduate mathematics research conference at the University of Michigan, Dearborn on July 15 2016. [conference booklet]
Their talk was titled Living on the Edge: Improved Reconstruction of Fourier Series using Jump Information with Applications to MRI. [slides]

MAA MathFest 2016

The team have had their abstract for the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) MathFest conference accepted!  MathFest 2016 will be held in Columbus, Ohio from August 3-6 2016.

Joint Mathematics Meetings (JMM) 2017

The team presented a poster as well as a talk at the AMS/MAA Joint Mathematics Meetings (JMM). Angela Morrison and Joseph Tobin represented the team at the conference which took place in Georgia, Atlanta from January 4-7 2017. The presentation (abstract) was part of the AMS-MAA-SIAM Special Session on Research in Mathematics by Undergraduates and Students in Post-Baccalaureate Programs while the poster was part of the MAA Student Poster Session
