Mary Vetek's work in the SCC office entitled "56 Years...A Visual Diary" is a work inspired by her beginnings in Kaposvar, Hungary and her travels to America in 1956 as a refugee from Communist suppressed Hungary.
Mary shares about her work, "This exhibit is a retrospective of many years...a visual diary...of places and memories spanning the past 56 years of my life here in America." Her works reflect her time living in Coronado, Sand Diego, Gulf
Breeze, other areas of Florida, Tucson, and her visits to Hawaii. She finds beauty in nature around her and is particularly inspired by the colorful Arizona sunsets and the Santa Catalina Mountains. SCC is honored to have Mary's work on its walls to share with our clients and the community. For more artwork by Mary or to inquire about making a purchase, please email her directly at mkv_arts@yahoo.com or call (520) 323-4664.
