The Society for Underwater Historical Research: Publications 1974-2004’, the major publication delivered by the project contains the following material:

  • 15 special reports describing the findings of fieldwork & desktop research including the two publications produced in 2006 - the facsimile of the South Australian Shipwrecks: A Database 1802-1989, and The Morgan Project.

  • 11 Annual Reports covering the years from 1976 to 1990

  • 182 newsletters (3 separate series)

  • 4 miscellaneous publications including the following SA Department of Environment & Natural Resources (DENR) publications - The Water Witch Wrecksite, A Report on the Identification, Survey & Partial Recovery of the Wrecksite and the previously unpublished The Raising of the Loch Vennachar Anchor.

  • Supplementary material including an index, a bibliography and an overview of the SUHR’s history and operations.

Due to its large size (i.e. 267 Mb or approximately 3500 A4 pages), initial distribution will be on CD-ROM for a nominal cost to cover media and postage costs. An online version is proposed for launch in 2012.
