Introduction

In 2002, the Society for Underwater Historical Research (SUHR) commenced a project known as the Document Digitalisation Project to digitise all of its hardcopy publications.

The principal aim of this project is to reach a new audience interested in learning about, appreciating and enjoying the maritime history & archaeology of South Australia (SA).

The project achieved completion in January 2012 with the release of a reprint of its principal deliverable, The Society for Underwater Historical Research: Publications 1974-2004.

The purpose of this site is to report on the Project’s outcomes and serve as a distribution platform for some of the Project’s deliverables.

The following publications which were produced during the Project are available as downloads from this site: 'South Australian Shipwrecks 1802 – 1989: A Data Base’ and 'The Morgan Project'.

The site also will be used as a distribution platform for deliverables from the Star of Greece project.
