Are you allowed to set a bible on the ground or is it like the American flag where it is disrespectful and you have to burn it ?
It is the intent of the heart. If that person leaves their Bible out on the ground out of a lack of respect for it, then yes: It would be wrong for that person. However, if a person were to be sitting on the floor in a prayer meeting with other Christians with their bible's next to them on the ground for reading later, then surely not. God can look into a person's heart and instantly tell what the intent of a person's heart is.
