Funerals and Burials
For arrangements regarding funerals and burials it is usual to contact an undertaker in the first instance. They will usually make arrangements with the church.
There are also certain rules concerning the allocation of burial plots, these can be found below in Section 1 and 4.

3. At the church
Car parking is a little limited and shared with the school. Funerals coinciding with school start and end times (09.00am and 3.30pm) should be avoided due to the high number of parents cars collecting children.
The church hold 120 people. It is quite common for the undertaker to arrange for speakers to be placed outside church for 'overspill' people to listen to the service outside of church.
The church uses microphones routed through a mixing desk for amplification and hearing aid loops within the building. There is a 6.35mm male or female jack connector at the back of church in the baptistery, fed from the mixing desk output, to allow connection to an amplifier and speakers routed outside - these to be provided by the undertaker.
It is possible to play pre-recorded music through the church's amplification system. There is a 3.5mm or 6.35mm jack connection for your tablet, phone or CD player (not provided by the church). Whilst this might be the wishes of the family it must be remembered that someone will need to take responsibility for this - there have been examples of the wrong track being played or the wrong volume at a most inappropriate time. It should also be remembered that the deceased's favourite tune might not be appropriate for a church funeral.
4. Burial plots and churchyard
There are two parts to the churchyard - a new churchyard and an old churchyard.
The regulations surrounding grave and headstone design are fairly strict, and governed by the 1945 Welsh Church Burial Grounds Act.
