Unlike a pleated heading curtain, wave curtains use less fabric since there are no pleats or gathers. They can be purchased ready-made with eyelets (to hang on a pole) but as an alternative, existing tape heading can be adapted for use. They can then be either hung from a pole using rings on or on a track (with runners) that has adequate distance from the wall for the fabric 'wave' to be formed.
1. This is the reverse side of the original curtain & shows the tape stitched across the upper edge, as purchased.
2. In this example, rings on a pole are being used. The curtain hooks are positioned in the upper line of tape pockets & spaced between 4-6 pockets apart - distance is governed by depth of pleat.
