This file presents data on Spanish tax revenue constructed for my PhD dissertation. It considers the total of public administrations (thus including the central, regional and local levels, as well as Social Security). Free to use, making reference to the studies indicated in the first sheet.

This is a replication file for the article “Income taxes and redistribution in the early twentieth century”, by Sara Torregrosa-Hetland and Oriol Sabaté, published in Economic History Review (online, 2025). The article studies the development of income taxes in Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States, during the first half of the twentieth century, estimating their redistributive effects.
