Working with doctors to explain the new drugs and how they make our lives better is very exciting work. Using a combination of film and animation we can explain processes happening on the cellular level and on the chemical level.

The Heart Pad was to use game technology to display cardiac ultrasound in-situ on a Ipad on the patients chest. This was to be a big improvement because the industry was still looking at inverted images because that was all they could do in the 1970s and no one changed the convention.

I had to animate the blood clot traveling to the brain. Modeling the brain was a bit harder then I had thought. if i had more time I would have liked to address the hair.

I was asked to animate a skin disease where the layer of cels that make the skin cels become irregular causing pre mature cels to reach the surface too soon. this is one of my cleverest solutions using blendshapes, hair systems, and animated textures and compositing to meet all of the client requirements. Recently I rebuilt the shot for my demo reel rendering at a higher resolution.
