- Was co-chair of the African Environmental Fund (AEF). The AEF has eleven African trust funds as members and is growing.
- Task team leader and main rapporteur of the“Training Needs For Environmental Funds In Africa”. As such I played a pivotal role in designing the needs assessment research, executing it, interpreting the results, and documenting the findings. This document plays a central role in guiding skills training for the African funds, in fundraising for training and in promoting the AEF.
