There are two sub-tabs on this tab, SnG registrator and Spins registrator. They allow you to autoregister Sit & Goes and Spin & Goes.
SnG registrator allows you to automatically register to the specified types of SnG tournaments according to the specified criteria, including in two different PokerStars clients at the same time.
Before setting up the SnG registrator itself, you need to set up the PokerStars client in a certain way.
1. The poker client must be configured to run as admin. Without this, the registrator will not work. If you play two PokerStars clients at the same time, then you need to configure both clients by this way (and StarsCaption, too, of course).
2. Columns in the list of tournaments in the lobby should be arranged in a certain order, as shown in the screenshot below, namely:
ID | Game | Limit | Buy-in | Speed | Type | State | Enrolled
To configure, click the gear button in the upper right corner of the list, and in the window that appears, turn on all the checkboxes on the left, except Target ID (the ID checkbox is turned off by default, so you usually only need to enable it). Also, if you moved the columns in the list, enable Reset Column Widths and Order and click OK:
After that you can change the width of the columns in the lobby, but don't change the order of columns (the program expects them to be located in that order).
3. You can use the Sit & Go tab in the lobby or the Favorites tab. If possible, remove all tournaments that you are not going to play in the lobby filters and leave only the necessary ones.
4. It is recommended to enable the option that allows you to register in tournaments with one click, without the buy-in confirmation window appearing:
Instead, you can enable the Dialogs / Auto accept tournament buy-in dialog in StarsCaption settings, but this will add certain delays and cause extra windows to appear.
In addition, configure tournament tables to close automatically in Dialogs / Close finished tournaments after X seconds.
5. SNG registrator will not work if the main PokerStars lobby is minimized. If you don’t have enough room for the lobby on the screen, you can hide it outside the screen using the Lobby / Global hotkeys / Hide/show lobby hotkey, or a similar function in General HUD / OnClick.
6. If you play satellites or any other tournaments whose names appear in more than one color in the Type column - for example, as in screenshot below, where the beginning of the name is displayed in blue and the end in green - make the Type column wide enough so that the name of the tournament in the lobby displayed in its entirety, or so that at least the beginning of the fragment displayed in the last color is visible.
For example, here it will be sufficient if only the very beginning of the number 2 will be visible in the "2 Seats" fragment.
If this is not done, then the poker client will not draw this fragment of the name in the lobby at all, and as a result, the SnG registrator will not be able to recognize it.
The rest of the lobby columns can be made of any width.
Click Update tourney types button. The lobby should expand to full screen for a couple of seconds and return to its previous state, after which the Tournament type drop-down list will be filled with the types of tournaments that are in the lobby. If the list in the lobby is too long, then in the Tournament type there will be only those types that will be present in the visible part of the lobby when it is expanded to full screen.
If you have two different Star Lobbies open, there will be tournaments from both lobbies in the list.
Click Add tournament to add a new tournament to the registration list.
Select a tournament type from the Tournament type list.
Set other parameters for this type of tournament:
Max SNGs of this type - the number of tournaments of this type that you want to play simultaneously.
Max simultaneous registered SNGs of this type - the number of simultaneous registrations of tournaments of this type. For example, if you put 4 in Max SNGs of this type and 1 here, then you will play a maximum of 4 tournaments of this type, but registration will be done only one by one (i.e. the registrator will not register you in the second tournament of this type until the first one opens). If you put 2 there, then there may be two simultaneous registrations, etc.
Register if already enrolled from X to Y - registration in tournaments in which a certain number of people are already registered. For example, in the screenshot above, I have selected a tournament for 45 people in the list, and I want to register in it only if from 22 to 44 people are registered in it. If you want to register in any, then put 0 on the left (on the right you can leave 44 or put any number more than 44).
If you are going to mix different types of tournaments, then you can click Add tournament again, select a different type of tournament for it and configure all the other parameters described above.
Below are the general parameters of the registrator.
SNGs to keep playing - the total number of tournaments played. In the example above, I set up two types of tournaments, 4 tables of the first type and 2 tables of the second. If I put 4 here, then despite the fact that 4 + 2 will be 6, the registrator will not open more than 4 anyway.
Max SNGs to play - the registrator will automatically turn off after a specified number of registrations.
Max time to play - the registrator will automatically turn off after a specified time.
Scanning delay - after turning on the registrator will scan tournaments in the list from top to bottom, and when it reaches the end of the list, it will pause. This parameter sets the number of seconds for which it will stop before going through the list in the opposite direction. If you set 0 here, after a short pause, it will begin to scan the list in the opposite direction, and will do this further continuously until he reaches the specified number of tournaments.
List end timeout - allows you to set the time in seconds that the registrator uses as a timeout to determine the end of the list of tournaments in the lobby.
By default, there are 2 seconds, but if registrator sometimes stops in the middle of the list when scanning, try to increase this value.
Registered - here the current number of registrations is displayed, and in parentheses the total number from the beginning of the session. The Clear button on the right allows you to reset the current registrations - use it if you manually unregistered from tournaments (or one of the registrations was not completed for some other reason).
I have not yet explored the situation when the registrator does not have time to register for the tournament (in the lobby it was displayed as available for registration, but at the moment of pressing the button it turned out that it was already filled). Perhaps in such situations, the registrator will fail and count tournaments such as successfully registered ones. If you encounter situations of this kind and the registrator will not work correctly in them, then write to me, please.
Opened - the current number of open tournaments (not all, but only those that have been registered by the registrator).
Session time - time from the moment the registrator is turned on.
The [SNG_timeToEnd] tag in the HUD / Table panels and General HUD shows the time until the end of the session (based on the value of Max time to play).
Active - turn on this checkbox to start registrations, and turn it off to stop.
Auto registrations for Spin & Go. It allows you to set the number of tables played, the number of tournaments in the session and / or the duration of the session.
Displays the number of already registered tournaments, the number of open tournaments, the duration of the session.
Spins registrator can operate in three main modes - Simple, Advanced and Based on open tables registration sequence. These modes differ in the way tournaments are selected for registration. The registration mode type is selected using the Use registration sequence option.
In this mode, the registration stake is selected manually in the lobby. Before starting the session, open the Spin & Go tab in the poker client lobby and select the stake you need there. There are also two additional options in this mode:
Alternate registration for two Stars clients - this option allows you to register in two PokerStars clients. When a new tournament needs to be opened, the registrator will open the selected tournament from the first lobby, then from the second lobby, then again from the first, etc.
Spin & Go Flash - this option is deprecated and will be removed in the future.
In this mode, you can mix different stakes, i.e. configure more complex registration scripts than in simple mode.
To configure the registration sequence, click the Add new button , then select the tournament type from the Spin stake drop-down list on the right.
If the drop-down list is empty, then click the Update spin types button (the lobby must be open, logged in, not minimized, and the Spin & Go tab must be open in it). If the list is not updated after clicking the button, then wait a few seconds and click the button again.
Then, using the same method, you can add one or more types of spins.
This screenshot shows a four-spin registration sequence - three spins with a $1 buy-in and one spin with a $2 buy-in.
The spins will be registered in this exact sequence - first the program will open three spins with a $1 buy-in, then a spin with a $2 buy-in. After the list is finished, it will go to the beginning and register a $1 spin again, etc.
This way you can adjust the ratio of tournaments played - if you play a session of 40 spins, 30 of them will be with a $1 buy-in and 10 with a $2 buy-in.
This mode also allows you to mix different stakes. Unlike the previous two modes, here the registrator does not interact with the lobby at all (it can be minimized or switched to another tab during the game). In this case, new tournaments are opened using the rematch dialog at the end of the tournament. For this reason, for this mode to work correctly, this poker client option must be disabled:
otherwise, the rematch window will not appear and the registrator will not be able to click the required button there.
Initially, tournaments for this mode can be opened in two ways, which can be selected in the Based on open tables sequence option:
Manual - in this mode, all the tournaments you need must be opened manually. This mode makes sense if you mix different stakes - for example, you can open two tournaments of one stake and three tournaments of another stake, after which you will always play them in this ratio (the registrator will automatically do rematches until your session settings stop it).
Auto (on a base of the 1st table) - in this mode, it is enough to open one table of the stake you need, and the registrator will open the remaining tables of the same stake automatically using the Register to similar tourney option. You will not be able to mix stakes in this mode, but the initial opening of tables will be somewhat simplified (to start a session, you will only need to turn on the registrator and open one table of the stake you need).
Spins keep playing - the number of simultaneously played spins.
Max spins to play - the registrator will automatically turn off after a specified number of registrations.
Max time to play - the registrator will automatically turn off after the specified time.
If in some situations the registrator will open more tournaments than specified in Spins keep playing, then try increasing the Registration timeout parameter .
This parameter works as follows: if the registrator needs to open a new tournament, it clicks the Play Now button in the PokerStars lobby. If the tournament does not open after the time specified in the Registration timeout parameter (in seconds), the registrator clicks the button again. Sometimes it happens that the PokerStars client opens a new tournament with a significant delay (due to problems with connecting to the server or due to the overall system load). In this case, if in Registration timeout set for 5 seconds (as in the screenshot above), and the tournament will open only after 6 seconds, then the program will have time to press the button again during this time, as a result, two tournaments will open instead of one.
Pause registrator when - the registrator will be automatically paused when one of the following conditions is met:
More than X heads-up tables are played - you are playing more than X heads-up tables at a given time. If you put 0 there, then the pause will be activated with one heads-up, if 1 - then with two heads-ups, etc.
Spin & Go with multiplier X or more is played - you are playing a tournament with a multiplier of X or more (multiplier = the ratio of the tournament prize pool to the buy-in).
You can also pause manually - by enabling the Pause option located on this tab, or by using the right-click menu in the General HUD - there is a menu item Spins registrator - Pause, which toggles this option.
In addition to the options indicated here, there are other settings that allow you to control the speed of registration in the spins.
It is a set of the following options:
1. Dialogs / Close finished tournaments after X seconds , and its suboption Close marked tables (via Hotkeys / Mark the table) after Y seconds .
2. Hotkeys / Mark the table
3. Table highlight / Marked table (by 'Mark the table' hotkey)
You need to configure all these options and set different X and Y times in the options from #1. Conventionally, this will be a "short" and "long" pause before registration after the end of the tournament (you can make the default pause short, and Y pause long, or vice versa, as you prefer). The registrator will start registration in a new spin only after the previous table is closed, so this mechanism allows you to indirectly control the speed of its work.
Before starting the session, open the Spin & Go tab in the poker client, then enable Active . If you are using the Simple registration sequence, then also remember to select the stake in the lobby.
Spins registrator can be started and stopped by right-clicking on the tray icon and selecting the menu item of the same name there. Also, this item is in the menu called by right-clicking on the General HUD.
In addition, in General HUD, you can make a set of buttons to control Spins registrator, for example:
Make three panels in General HUD:
- panel with text "+", select OnClick / Increase 'Spins to keep playing' for it
- panel with text "[SpinsReg_state] [SpinsReg_number] spins", select OnClick / Toggle Spins registrator for it
- panel with text "-", select OnClick / Decrease 'Spins to keep playing' for it
You get three buttons - the upper one increases the number of played spins, the lower one - decreases, the central one - displays the number of played spins and displays the state of Spins registrator ([•] - on, [] - off), and also turns it on/off by clicking. Similar buttons can be created not only in the General HUD, but also right on the tables - the same tags and OnClcik options are also available in HUD / Table panels.
In these two modes, to open new tournaments, the Spins registrator clicks the Play Now button directly in the main lobby, so registration will not work if the lobby is minimized. The program has a special mechanism for hiding the lobby, which will help avoid the lobby constantly popping up when opening new tournaments.
In order to hide/show the lobby manually, you can use the Lobby/Hide show lobby hotkey. The lobby will be hidden behind the edge of the screen - the program will be able to click the necessary buttons there, it will try to pop up, but you will not notice it (except that at this moment the focus of the active window may be lost).
When using the hotkey, the lobby should not be minimized or expanded to full screen, otherwise the program will not be able to hide it correctly.
In addition to the hotkey, you can also make a button in the General HUD with a similar function. To do this, set up the appropriate OnClick function for one of the panels:
After that, you will be able to hide and show the lobby again by clicking on this panel.
In addition, there is a function for automatically hiding the lobby - Spins registrator / Auto hide lobby
If you enable this option, the lobby will be automatically hidden when the registrator is turned on, and will be automatically shown after the registrator is turned off and the last table is closed. For this option to work correctly, the lobby should not be minimized or expanded to full screen when the registrator is turned on.
If you use this option and want to get the lobby during the game, use any of the functions described above, a hotkey or a button.
