Itinerary

Saturday July 27th - Meet at St. Nick's parking lot at 6:30 a.m. Gather, load vans, and leave by approximately 7:15 a.m. Drive 415 miles, 6 hours plus stops for lunch and gas/bathrooms. Bring bag lunches and filled water bottle; we will have coolers in the rental vans. Stop in St. Paul, MN for cultural experience at approx 3:30 pm. Arrive at  Brooklyn Methodist Church in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota between 5pm and 5:30pm to stay overnight. They will provide a spaghetti dinner and host us overnight. (sleeping bags, some cots and couches provided)

Sunday July 28th - Leave Brooklyn Center, Minnesota following prayer service. Drive 384 miles, 6 hours plus stops. Lunch on the road. Dinner at Spirit Lake at 6 p.m. 

Monday July 29th - Thursday August 1st  - Work at various sites. Tuesday evening is cultural evening and Thursday evening is prayer service and wrap up with our hosts at Spirit Lake Ministry Center, Mike and Libby.

Friday August 2nd - Cultural day. 

Morning:

Possible 7 a.m. mass at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Fort Totten, followed by breakfast possibly at South Shore Eatery

10 a.m.: Meeting at Cankdeska Cikana Community College with Dr. Cynthia Lindquist, Star Horse Woman, President https://www.littlehoop.edu/president.html  

Stop at Spirit Lake Social Services to drop off donations

11 a.m.: Meeting at Recovery and Wellness Center. http://www.spiritlakenation.com/programs/tribal-health/spirit-lake-recovery--wellness-center/Lunch provided.

Afternoon:  

Sullys Hill National Game Preserve  https://www.fws.gov/refuge/sullys_hill_national_game_preserve/and

Dinner in Devil's Lake and return to site.  

Clean up, pack and St. Nick's Final Reflection and community time together. 

Saturday August 3rd - Leave at 6:00 a.m. Drive 805 miles 12 hours plus stops for lunch, dinner and gas/bathrooms.
