Miller Race Engineering consultancy was formed in 2008 to better understand the technicalities of racing chassis setup. It became apparent that Sim racing would create opportunities for learning and evaluating the engineering principles as racing simulators are actually driven by the engineering calculations that define the physics of real racing.

To pursue the development of the appropriate engineering expertise, a team was formed to participate in On-line endurance racing. FVR(Fangio-Villeneuve Racing) combined the driving strength of a group of sim drivers from Argentina and Canada to compete in LMP-2 races of between 4 and 12 hours. With the help of M.R.E. FVR greatly improved its performance with overall podium finishes in the 2012-2013 Season at Virtual On-line Racers.

In 2011 an opportunity arose to apply the principles learned with FVR in the on-line racing of vintage(1976) Formula Atlantic cars in a series featuring amateur racing drivers. To participate Miller Race Engineering was further expanded into a racing team that garnered a 2nd place finish in the series.

The engineering expertise developed with FVR and M.R.E. is poised for application to future sim racing and real racing projects as well as race car modelling projects where applicable.
