Tamara Sellman is a three-time Pushcart nominee, most recently for two poems from her first book, Intention Tremor (MoonPath Press, 2021). This collection is a medical memoir composed of myriad forms chronicling her life in the five years following her 2013 MS diagnosis. Verse Daily featured one of its poems last August; another was a finalist in Winning Writers’ Margaret Reid Poetry Contest. Recent publications include Cirque, Loud Coffee Press, Turtle Island Quarterly, Conclave, and Gargoyle.

Jan Steckel’s book Like Flesh Covers Bone (Zeitgeist Press) won the 2019 Rainbow Awards for LGBT Poetry and Best Bisexual Book. Her poetry book The Horizontal Poet (Zeitgeist Press) won a 2012 Lambda Literary Award for Bisexual Nonfiction. Her fiction chapbook Mixing Tracks (Gertrude Press, 2009) and poetry chapbook The Underwater Hospital (Zeitgeist Press, 2006) also won awards. She lives in Oakland, California.
