Donna James is a 40+ year psychotherapist in private practice in Seattle and a poet of 11 years’ practice. Two hands-full of her poems are published in journals and books. She finally feels like she has enough work to pull together a book of her poems. Gathering, evaluating, and making a cohesive whole is proving to be a challenge and a revelation. She hates a blank page but loves revision, which is the soul of writing and psychotherapy.
