A survey course that introduces students to various skills required to maintain a home. Students will learn to cut and shape metal, cut threads, solder, and construct a water pipe network. A small engine will also be disassembled and repaired by each student.

Projects Include:

• • Single Cylinder, 4 Stroke Engine Assembly/Repair

  • Copper Pipe/PEX Tubing Water Network

  • Constructing and Soldering Wire Splices

  • Metal Paint Scraper

  • Cutting Threads Using Tap & Die Set

  • Wiring a Car Stereo

  • Constructing an Extension Cord and Low Voltage Cables

  • Spark Plug Tester

  • Changing a Car Tire (dependent on class size)
