We had a fun session today. We want the team to work on the WeDo software application & program the robot with various tasks.
During today's session we worked on the WeDo 2.0 Pulling lesson, where the team built a robot that could pull buggies that held some weight. The team experimented with buggies of two different shapes & sizes with different weights. The team was asked to estimate the distance it had to travel from point A to point B and also predict how the extra weight & surface friction affects the speed the model can move.
The team were also asked to name their robot, which they came up with pleanty of creative suggestions:)
All the dads from our team have given a fantastic presentation of what they do in their jobs & how they contribute to the society. Now its time for the moms.
We had a small activity for the kids towards the end of the session where they got to express their gratitude for Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
