Today we explained how sensors and motors work and how we can use it in our project.

1. Programmed Milo(moving rover)to detect the plant specimen and the person on wheelchair.

2. Discussed water treatment plants as part of the city

3. Discussed how a city is planned by planning homes, hospitals, water treatment plants in specific areas.

Homework for this week:

We can divide this project in to 5 areas to let their individual opinions come through & we can combine as part of building and presentation.

• We want the kids to draw on a letter size paper where they want these below city features to be ideally positioned. They can add any other city building features.
  • Water & drainage system
  • Houses & work areas
  • Parks & recreation
  • Solar & wind power/ utilities
  • Transportation

They also need to come up with a separate drawing under their assigned tasks below.

Let them focus on their areas & come up with better solutions, let them list & draw their ideas, we will include that in our presentation. Please make sure they complete this before next Sunday meeting.
