Building: a structure with a roof and walls, such as a house, school, store, or factory.

That’s the definition... but so much more goes into it! For Boomtown build:

1. Let’s name our building company.

2. Let’s think about some building designs which we like & why we like it. It could be your school, your house or any cool buildings.

3. Let’s try to find how efficient these buildings are..., see if your building is good for:

A. Accessibility,

B. Is it an environmental friendly building,

C. Is it durable

4. Draw it out, let your imagination speak through your drawings, write it down & then Build

It was so fun to know the details of what Prashanth uncle works on in his office in today’s session.

It is so fascinating to see the kids pay so close attention on details & eager to know & learn what their parents work upon.

Homework: Come up with ideas for environmentally friendly buildings.
