Biography

• Yuichi Ono is a Professor at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at University of Tsukuba in Ibaraki, Japan. He was employed as a CALL system manager at Center for Education of Global Communication (CEGLOC) (former organization: Foreign Language Center) in 2011.
• He worked as an English instructor at Oyama National College of Technology in Tochigi, Japan  (1995-2011).
• His research interests include Technology-Enhanced Language Learning (TELL), CSCL (Computer Supported Collaborative Learning). His interests include Second Language Acquisition (SLA), especially data-driven and Corpus-Based Analyses of language uses.
• He is a member of Executive Committee of Kanto Chapter of the Japan Association of Language Education and Technology (LET). 
• He is currently working as a chair of Learning Technology Learning Environment (LTLE) of IIAI-AAI (2014-).
• He is currently working as a PC of ICCE (C6: Technology-enhanced Language Learning (TELL), C4: Classroom, Ubiquitous and Mobile Technologies Enhanced Learning (CUMTEL))
• In 2019, he is a Program Chair of FLEAT VII (Foreign Language Education and Technology VII) , held at Tokyo, Japan.   https://www.j-let.org/fleatvii/
