Dear Friends and Family:

This past year 2013 was one of surprise. It was the year of new Pope, 25, Florida Spring Break, Yokohama, BMC, Aaron, Obamacare, Stripes Forever, Mom's Birthday Lunch, Navy Yard tragedy, MSO, Furlough, Red, Beach Restoration, iPad, Bronze Medal, Graduation, Red Sox, Tokyo, HOCR, Keith Urban, WPI, Boston, FIT, JAL, Patrick, Twitter, 22, Winter Storm Nemo, 51, Maugle Sierra Vineyards, Jack, Blizzard Beach, Epcot, Island Fathers Day, Spain, Chamard, Aqua, USS North Dakota, Government Shutdown, Island Summit, Christmas Brunch and Gun Control.

Renée graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with BS in Environmental Engineering last May. She accepted a job with Woodard & Curran in Andover. MA. Renée will graduate again this May from WPI with a MS in Civil Engineering. Renée turned 22 in June and is in Riverside Boat Club as coxswain of Men’s Rowing team. She raced in the Head of the Charles regatta and won 3rd Place (out of 51) for a bronze medal. She toured Spain with boyfriend Christian in July and visited Ibiza Island. She visits Washington, DC often where Christian is studying for his MBA at Georgetown University. She’s an expert in frequent flyer deals. Jet Blue or Southwest?

Travis had another year of medical recovery. He continues seeing a great doctor at Boston Medical Center where he undergoes infusion therapy for his Crohn's disease. Travis has quite the guitar collection and continues to expand in the arts & music arena. He has a new girlfriend, Jess. Travis turned 25 in October and is preparing to go skiing in Vermont and locally at Powder Ridge. He is excited that Powder Ridge opened this season after being closed for 7 years. That’s where he learned to ski as a little kid in the early 1990s. Skis or snow blades?

Joe had a tough year with Sequestration and being a manager in federal government. He continues as Branch Head in Undersea Warfare and is the International Program Manager for Spain and Japan. Joe had a busy year traveling to Tokyo, Yokohama, and Yokosuka. He is adjusting to long flights. He still conducts recruiting for the Undersea Warfare Center and Florida Tech at college fairs. Joe and Margie have been together for 5 years and enjoy local vineyards Maugle Sierra, Chamard, and Newport. They bumped into Keith Urban when out for breakfast in East Lyme, CT. It was a cool experience and he got a photo of Keith & Margie. They attended the new submarine christening for USS North Dakota in early November. Red or white?
