Joe started 2012 with a cat, hot tub and new car. He is getting adjusted to Patrick, his rescued orange Maine Coon cat. Joe had a busy summer with foreign travel and local excitement during OpSail CT with a dinner invitation aboard USS Carter Hall. Joe and Margie have been together for 4 years now. They enjoy escaping to Cedar Island in summer and Vermont snowshoeing in winter. Joe goes downhill skiing every time there‘s a snowstorm. The Branch Head job in Newport, RI is rewarding and he continues the Foreign Military Sales program with Spain and Japan. Joe went to Tokyo a few times and has adjusted to airport security. He still conducts recruiting for both the Undersea Warfare Center and Florida Tech at college fairs. Joe is glad Hurricane Sandy didn’t destroy Cedar Island and super happy that the boat stayed afloat. Joe likes to play Words with Friends on his new iPad. Apple or Windows? Army or Navy?
