Skarga-Net

Skarga-Net is an international network of scholars interested in the history of Jesuits in Poland and East-Central Europe and their contributions in the fields of the arts, humanities, and sciences. Skarga-Net is dedicated to the employment of new communication technology to facilitate the free exchange and discussion of scholarly ideas and resources—an invaluable way of advancing scholarship.

Skarga-Net enables scholars and students to communicate through electronic mail messages sent to the project coordinators. These messages can be saved, downloaded to a personal computer, copied, printed out, or forwarded to someone else. Skarga-Net stores discussion threads, relevant documents, and links to related sites on the web that can be easily accessible anytime and anywhere. (The inspiration for the Skarga-Net project has been driven from H-Net.org).
