My Heart Is Bleeding!
In the heart of hearts, I always loathed selling of father's heavenly abode -----The abode of his grandchildren well the abode of his great-grandchildren!
I remember on Dheeraj's birth he got tears of joy and at the same time felt that he was the happiest man upon the globe by telling that he was the first in the whole of the dynasty (see family tree) to see a great-grandchild in ones lifetime and that too in a new house. How pity it is that we sold his abode.
Oma Dedi once said that she would always like to keep the house like a bride (and yes it looked as a bride )!(see pictures)---but alas she said she was old to maintain it like a bride! --- Such was her love for this house and besides this was her husband's sweat and blood that went into this homemaking!
It may be added here that the architect of this house is the great Shri Tribhwan Nath Bhat his fourth son.
I remember father's wish was that his ashes should get immersed in the Vetasta at the confluence at Shadipur and he was not in favour of taking them to Haridwar. This shows that he had a great love of the place wherein he used to live. And we brothers sold his and our roots. I feel sorry for all this.
I Daya Krtishen Bhat, lament myself for failing to preserve it. My heart is bleeding that we did not even ask for the consent to sell this abode from all those youngsters who are now grown up human beings.
Lost this house to brokers in the year- 2006.
