Seal of Biliteracy

We were one of the Pilot Schools for this international recognition in 2015, with 11 Spanish students earning the distinction thanks to an LAEF grant.  The district has since assumed the cost of testing to offer this opportunity to our AP Spanish, French, and ESL students who can prove their proficiency in both English and another language.  The term biliteracy as opposed to bilingualism is used due to the fact that students must prove proficiency at the Intermediate-Mid level or above in each skill of reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
