Quilts of Valor

Smoky Hill Quilt Club proudly participates in the Quilts of Valor Foundation.

Our Mission: to cover Service Members and Veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.

Award-winning Quilt of Valor

Our SHQC member Jan B. lovingly created a magnificent quilt for a challenge at The Thread Loft quilt store in Aurora. The seven challenge requirements were to creatively use a panel, and include paper piecing, applique, a circle, a five-patch, a seven-patch and a nine-patch. We're thrilled to celebrate her first-place win in the Challenge!

This beautiful quilt was awarded to an honored veteran in the Smoky Hill Quilt Club local area.

Quilts of Valor Presentations

This is a great opportunity to showcase the talents of those within Smoky Hill Quilt Club who have worked tirelessly to make these beautiful creations, and more importantly, to recognize the efforts of so many men and women who continue to serve our country and community.
